CFturbo – Turbomachinery Software
What is CFturbo?
CFturbo software for turbomachinery design, simulation, and optimization.
Distributed in 16 countries by eCon Engineering Kft.
/Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Hungary, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, and Ukraine./
CFturbo guides the user step-by-step through the complete design process of a turbomachine. A first draft can be generated automatically. In the subsequent design process, the user has control over every detail.
Although this FEA and CFD tool is easy to learn, we also offer engineering solutions according to customer needs.
It offers a large variety of export interfaces for all major simulation systems in turbomachinery. This allows the user to build automated workflows, both for design explorations and optimizations

Pump Design Module
The pump module is perfect for the design and optimization of all types of rotodynamic pumps.
The software supports the design of axial, mixed-flow, and centrifugal pumps.
Users can create special pump components like inducers or sewage water impellers.
Fan & Blower Design Module
The fan module is suitable for engineers who design and optimize all types of fans, blowers, and ventilators.
CFturbo supports the design of axial, mixed-flow, and centrifugal ventilators. Users can create special types like radiator fans or squirrel-cage blowers.
Compressor Design Module
The compressor module fits engineers who design and optimize turbocompressors of various types.
CFturbo currently supports the design of centrifugal and mixed-flow compressors.
Special blade shapes can be applied for different manufacturing methods.
Turbine Design Module
The turbine module is for designing and optimizing radial inflow and axial gas turbines and radial and axial hydro turbines (Francis, Kaplan/ Pipe turbine).
The fluid property database, CoolProp, allows the user to apply various fluids, such as rocket fuel or supercritical CO2.
Users can apply unique blade shapes for different manufacturing methods.
