MECHANICAL SIMULATIONS IN ANSYS

Online
Online workshop

After the success of our online seminar in June, we are happily inviting you to our next virtual event: Mechanical Simulations in Ansys

The webinar will be focusing on different mechanical simulations in world leader Ansys simulation software.

Date: 16 September 2020 (Wednesday)
Time: 13:00 – 14:30 p.m.
Platform: Microsoft Teams Meeting

The webinar is free, but registration is required!

AGENDA

13:00 – 13:15 – eCon Engineering introduction and service overview / Milena Babić, Support Engineer

************

13:15 – 14:20 – Ansys Mechanical (FEA) case studie(s) & solutions and live demo / Milena Babić, Support Engineer

We will provide an overview about the Ansys Mechanical capabilities showing some application examples. We provide a brief insight to the simulation workflow.

The example will be a simulation of tractor front lift arms in Ansys Mechanical 2020 R2. As the first step, geometry of the front lift arms will be slightly modified. Since the arms lift some sort of agricultural equipment, there will be a static structural analysis where the arms will be loaded with weight of the equipment. Modal analysis will be conducted to find eigenfrequencies of the front lift arms. At the end a response spectrum analysis wil be conducted, where response of the arms to vibrations coming from the tractor can be observed. Since front lift arms contain several parts, contact definitions, as well as bolt pretension definition and the use of multiple load steps will be explained.

************

14:20 – 14:30 – Q&A

Please note, that the language of the seminar is Croatian. You can also ask questions in English.

We are looking forward to (virtually) meeting you!
