Econ Engineering is a committed supporter of the continuous development and improvement of the domestic education system, including higher education. To this end, our company has been persistent and motivated in cooperating with higher education institutions in Hungary and the Adria region, participating in internship programs and employing interns for several years.
Econ holds and participates in specialized courses at universities, and collaborates actively with several departments, professional organizations, and university student teams.
We feel a responsibility to ensure that the high added-value knowledge and applied engineering skills and background knowledge are based on quality, remain, and are utilized here in Hungary in the long term.
For all these reasons, we believe in change, we stand up for the freedom of public and higher education, and we trust that in the upcoming period, we will be able to welcome educated, intelligent, culturally aware, well-read, and professionally effective colleagues to our continuously developing office and further develop together.
Simulation study competition
For engineering students
In simulation topics for university and college students, with an annual results announcement. You can apply with any simulation project using Ansys or Moldex3D simulation software tools.
University education
Guest lectures on mechanical engineering and simulation topics based on case studies, within the framework of specialized courses in higher education.
Guest lectures for technical colleges
Thematic lectures on simulation and mechanical engineering for technical colleges.
Econ course – Applied Engineering Simulations
Semester-long Econ course at the Technical University of Budapest Mechanical Engineering Faculty. Optional practical exercise for simulation professional certification.
The Econ course aims to present live industrial case studies where solutions are generated by finite element analysis software, focusing on the solution of the problem. The lecture series is practice-oriented rather than a detailed mathematical description of the theories used.
Professional internship and thesis program
For engineering students
For mechanical engineers, electrical engineers and technicians, experience is based on real projects. Topics in engineering simulation and industrial automation.
Free software license for students
Providing Ansys and Moldex3D software licenses for students. For Moldex3D software please contact us or check the listed systems on the Moldex3D website.
Ansys for student
ANSYS STUDENT
Ansys Student offers free access to our Ansys Workbench-based bundle. This bundle includes Ansys Mechanical, Ansys CFD, Ansys Autodyn, Ansys SpaceClaim, and Ansys DesignXplorer.
ANSYS DISCOVERY STUDENT
With Ansys Discovery Student students can perform structural analysis, fluid analysis, topology optimization, thermal analysis, geometry modeling, modal analysis, and parameter studies.
ANSYS ELECTRONICS DESKTOP STUDENT
Students will have access to Ansys HFSS, Ansys Maxwell, Ansys Q3D, and Ansys Icepak, allowing design work on a broad range of electrical and electromechanical systems.
ANSYS ONSCALE
Ansys OnScale provides a great simulation platform for STEM students, undergraduate engineering students, and engineers who are new to simulation to learn introductory structure concepts, like general boundary conditions, stress analysis, thermal analysis, and much more. Additionally, Ansys OnScale offers easy integration into ONSHAPE® and MATLAB®.
ANSYS LS-DYNA STUDENT
Ansys LS-DYNA Student offers free access to the world’s most utilized explicit simulation program, capable of simulating the response of materials to short periods of severe loading. Students can work through simulations involving materials failure and look at how the failure progresses through a part or a system. Applications include automotive, aerospace, incompressible fluids, compressible fluids and shock waves, electromagnetics, and more.
ANSYS SCADE STUDENT
Ansys SCADE Student offers free access to a model-based development environment for critical embedded software. This integrated design environment can be used for applications including requirements management, model-based design, simulation, verification, qualifiable/certified code generation, and interoperability with other development tools.
Webinar training for students
Professional webinars for students within the Ansys education program.
