Ansys Q3D Extractor

Specialized simulation software for quasi-static electromagnetic field simulations in both 3D and 2D, with a key function of extracting RLCG parameters from interconnect structures, enabling detailed analysis and optimization.

Utilized for simulating and analyzing 3D electromagnetic fields within electronic components and systems, Ansys Q3D Extractor features a 3D RLCG parasitic extraction solution designed to address the complexities of modern electronic designs. Its robust 2D and 3D field solvers automatically generate circuit models compatible with SPICE simulators, providing essential design insights. This software is particularly suited for designing advanced electronics packages, connectors, high-speed electronic equipment, high-power bus bars, and components for electrical power distribution, power electronics, and electric drive systems. Through finite element method (FEM) techniques, the software is used to predict and optimize parameters like impedance, capacitance, and parasitic inductance.
