The main features of CFturbo Turbomachinery Design Software include a very intuitive, user-friendly interface, working with both proprietary and freely available open-source design methods, and incorporating the main turbomachinery design capabilities.
Its advantage over traditional CAD design systems is that due to its 3D geometry editing capabilities, it requires minimal engineering time to design. CFturbo is the ideal software to develop the initial design and for further optimization and automation. The design tool is integrated under Ansys OptiSLang and Workbench. It also provides input to all Ansys meshing tools (Ansys Meshing, TurboGrid, ICEM).

CFturbo’s licensing is exceptionally flexible. In addition to perpetual licenses and a support package, time-limited licenses of 3, 6, 12, 24, or 36 months can be purchased. This is available for 12 separate software modules and also in different combination packages.
