In this project, a sequentially coupled thermo-mechanical analysis was executed where the displacement and the stress state is dependent on a temperature field. A sequentially coupled thermal-stress analysis included a thermal analysis, that solves a heat transfer problem and a stress analysis. After the thermal calculation, the stress analysis solves a mechanical task that requests the results of the former solution.

The known temperature field was obtained from the Moldflow plastic injection moulding simulation results.
