Particleworks is a CFD simulation software that, unlike traditional finite volume analysis, models the fluid as small particles and then follows the path of the particles through the process. The problem is solved on the computer’s graphics card, so results for multiphase- or splashing flows are obtained more quickly. It is used in the analysis of fluid problems in a wide range of fields such as transmission and engine lubrication, motor cooling, flooded road running, agitation and mixing of chemicals, resins, food, as well as sediment disasters and flooding.
The workshop is recommended for all developers and technology managers involved in the above mentioned topics.
